Cystic fibrosis is not 'inclusive' enough?

This article that can be read by clicking here states that students at Carleton University in Canada will not be helping the CFF raise money for Cystic Fibrosis this year because the disease is not "inclusive"enough. Claiming that because CF "has been recently revealed to only affect white people, and primarily men". This is not the case, CF mainly effecting the caucasian race but can and does effect all races. The real truth here is that more children have CF than anyone. Should that not be the point? To help children above all other racial and gender issues?

I don't think that everyone should just be helping just the CFF. There are many other great causes that help children with different diseases, preterm birth issues, and cancers. Lets take Sickle Cell Disease for example, should we not help children or people effected by Sickle Cell because the disease is not "inclusive" enough? What disease is politically correct enough to be worthy of help from others?
